Well, back in the late 50's and early 60's, he was in the RAF, flying all sorts of stuff, like Javelin, Meteor, Vampire, Chipmunk, Jet Provost, and even a Tiger Moth. He flew in some cool civvie planes, too, like Comet, Viscount and Vanguard too.
The best part of this is that he has got his log book and some pictures locked away in some dark closet, and that he's gonna pick'em out some day now to show me!! Mebbe I'll scan some of them and show them to yer. Aaah, the 60's, the Golden Age of aviation  IP: Logged |
