Well, This is the first time I have been on this forum in quite a while. The reason is, I am SUPER bussy at work now. I just got put incharge of overhauling a Bell 205 Huey (see my picture) It's pretty much the same thing as I built for Fighter Squadron! She's all mine! just me working on her.... with some help from the head mechanic ofcourse Man, do I love my job now or what?!.... I just wish it didn't start at 7AM in the frekin morning!Ohh well. Just had a few spare seconds, so I thought I would pop by......... I'LL BE BACK! ------------------ Cheers! Lt. Col. Jaguar The FS Hangar IP: Logged |

What a break, man!! I can't imagine too many of us lucking out like that I hope you get as much out of the experince as you hope...and just think of the detail we can expect in your Huey model after having worked on one like that....I bet there will be a great cockpit for it!!Now--back to business....is there an Avenger at the place you work at? I apologize....I had to do it....off to bed now! ------------------ Brought to you by the campaign for a better Dauntless! Jeeves =FC= IP: Logged |

That reminds me!! I should look up the part numebrs for those miniguns >=) that'll take care of Werner's AAA heheheThe experience comes later..... Cleaning first but once i get all the mud and egg sacks outta there, It's all down hill! I have been thinking of my SDoE huey ALOT lately Jeeves. Althought the Avenger hasn't came to mind in a LONG time LOL. But keep nagging, one day I'll give in!! BTW... I have already taken pictures of the cockpit and instrument panels hehehe. Still an OPPer at heart On a semi-ralated note. We share the same ramp as the air museum. So when ever they want to move aircraft around, they park a few infrom of our building till they get things moved. I got a good close up look at an F-86, Vampire, and some other plane I can't rember at the moment. I did see them drive a spitfire (I THINK it was a mark V) away. They had it on a little dolly behind a pickup. It looked awsome! Yeah, I know what you mean spank. I am learning SO much now. No time schedual.......yet SURE!!!.... it'll be a short ride though.... it has no engine in it..... or transmission...... or tail rotor..... or main rotor........ or doors...... or even seats It does still have the windows installed though..... till I take them out next week hehehehe.

I remember my first too! She was much smaller , OH-58 (JetRanger). If they let you have your own bird then you must be doing something right. Good job, Jag IP: Logged |
