any info on this one? looks like its haping up to be pretty cool. When does it premier over there?(US)Its in 10 parts (I think), ihope we get all the 101st campaigns and not too much time spent in training.

Seems to be a cracker. Let's hope it won't be an over-dramatized Hollywood war movie in which Uncle Sam takes credit for everything, like so many others

It seems to cover a fair bit of famous happenings in WWII, like the BoB, the Doolittle Raid, and even the little-covered subject of the war in Burma.

If this is based on the book by Stephen Ambrose and is true to it...then it should be an exceptional movie-- I saw him on C-Span over the Christmas break and he is an amazing author and historian.

Guys, its a 10 part ( each part of one hour -thats 10 hours of war movie!) series based on the Stephen Ambrose novel. Its about the 101st so I hope it involves all their campaigns. I know Tom Hanks is directing an episode and it also has alot of links with SPR. You in the US should see it on HBO soon..
