Pete - do you have any connections to university/college campuses via the student body? I'm in post-secondary and I've seen a few upstart sites do grassroots marketing on bulletin boards, super cheap (for you it'll be free) and tons of publicity with thousands of students walking by. When you're up and running drop me an email and I'll see what I can do for you up here.
