Da Jug head Pilot	posted 01-05- 01:21 AM I just found out one of the gentlemen that helps usher in our church is a WWII and Korean war pilot- and an ace! His nickname is "Ace" and he still flies. Looks like I'm going to be buying someone lunch or dinner. A friend of mine that knows about him told me he loves to talk about the birds he flew. Werner Molders Pilot	posted 01-06- 09:21 PM I used to volunteer at a military museum in town, and each time I'd be paired up with a vet to do hosting as people would come in. Sometimes it would be a WWII vet, another time this lady that was a young girl during the time Holland was occupied, but my favourite guy to work with was a Tank Driver who fought in Korea. It's amazing to have the opportunity to hear their stories first hand. I agree mirth, I think Korea vets must feel as though they showed up five years late for the 'party', at least in the eyes of history. Tragic. Werner ------------------ Visit Abbeville Field Today!
