She is a 56' chevy. In fairly good shape.
I took this picture at the yard that I bought it from.

As you can see it was $4600 which is cheap for this car. I tried to get him down but no dice.
I have ben searching for one of these for a long, long time.
I have traveled all over the state, (Texas).

Of course the paint will have to go, and new tires, wheels etc. There is allot of work to be done but that is fun part.

I am going to drop a 396 c.u. stroker in her and paint it a dark emerald green.

My wife even likes it, go figure, hehe.

sweet.

That Texas weather certainly helps to keep the bodywork in good nick.

It's a real bonus when the wife likes it...especially when she sees the bill for the motor, tyres, wheels, etc. etc. etc.

I am on a scavenger hunt for parts.
I need suspension, gauges, trim, all kinds of stuff.

I figure it will be at least a two year project if not more.

Now if I could convince my wife to get her car out of the garage and let me keep it in there.

Fat chance, hehe

Damn, that sounds like a fun project. I've got a '69 Camaro sitting in a garage on the other coast myself. Someday...
