Last night I was messing around with my desktop and realized that I could drag a shortcut onto my task bar and it creates a shortcut there. Doing this allows you to load up your task bar and delete the shortcuts icons sitting on your desktop. Another nice thing is you only have to give the new shortcuts ONE click to start the respective programs. I thought I was the only one who didn't know this, but I mentioned it to someone else and he hadn't ever tried it either. So just sharing the helpful news.

Another thing I figured out while back... Drag your My Computer icon to the edge of the screen. It creates a 'task bar' there wth shourcuts to all your drives. I can also be done with many other things as well.

Hold down the Ctrl key and roll the Mouse wheel will zoom in and out in many applications, try it here in the forum, also works with Excel...etc.
