Disk errors or Win Registry files screwed up.
You might run scandisk and defrag if you
haven't all ready.

Spank I'm telling you dude....

YOu said you were having CTD's with BOB and B17II....

Do like Zur said and check your RAM...try some other RAM or check each stick that you have. I had some bad RAM once and it hosed all aspects of my system.

Spanky here...

Dan I slowed down my ram settings and it let me into bob, but I could never play it.

I Also said that these Illegal ops were constant and happened ANY time I tried to run a program I had to click through a couple just to get the computer booted and then I could do nothing.

I formated another drive and I'm now on that and every thing is fine. Does that sound like a ram problem?

turns out my brothers computer was infected.

Now I have to try to disinfect my drive to save some of the data. Theres no way I'm just going to format right away.

Yes it does sounds like a RAM problem. Try the virus stuff and if you still have a problem check the RAM. Your system will be really unstable if there is a problem with your RAM.

The reason I mention BoB and B17II was because I remember you mentioning have problems with them a while back.
