Way off topic, but I just downloaded and played Rune. Viking Combat on a Quake engine. Nice art, nice look, fun. I just suck at these games though. The control really messes me up. Why can't you just "fly" the character with your joystick?

Oh well...if you like melee combat, vikings, or Quake spin-off's Goth gives it a thumbs up.

Im rather good at playing 1st person shooters. I first played SWOTL with a mouse way back when and got damn good at it. Thus when Wolfenstein 3d came out, I used a mouse to play it too since I was already familiar with its feel. (Back then most people used the keyboard) I remember when I was the only person I knew at my school that played 1st person shooters with a mouse... They all thought I was really wierd but I told them just you wait... youll be using a mouse soon enough and they said "never!" LoL

P.S. I flip the vertical axis so when I pull back on the mouse I look up (Like with a joystick) rather than look down. Just feels more like "flight" to me that away.

Hmm...good thought...I'll try that.

Last night I thought I was playing by myself, it turned out I was hosting live not on my local net. I was quite suprised to bump into two players. It was fun.
