Hi.I recently got Allied General and the game won't run unless I'm in 256 colour mode. So right now, I have to go into the control panel, set to 256 colours and THEN run Allied General. Is there any way to do this in a batch file or in a shortcut before running Allied General and then set back to normal colour? I know, I know, I'm a lazy bugger, but it's sort of annoying not being able to click on a desk-top shortcut to run the game without going through these contortions. IP: Logged |

Flash,Open the "Display" applet in the Control Panel. Click the "Settings" tab. Click "Advanced". Click the "General" tab and then find the checkbox that says "Show settings icon on taskbar". Tick it. Click "OK". You should now see a small TV icon near the Windows clock. Right click it and you should be able to adjust the resolutions supported by your monitor as well as the color depths (256 - 16bit - 32, etc) Hope this helps! ------------------ Bombs may explode...handle with care...visit FS Online IP: Logged | |
