Is the P40 flyable?

I extracted it to the aircraft folder but I can't get it to show up anywhere.

Are any of the addon planes flyable?

Ok, heres the trick. Open the panel.cfg in wordpad and look for something like this.

alias=*/*

It will be pointing to a folder, the folder wont exist, so change it to another aircraft folder with a panel in it, like the wildcats panel folder.

Then go to the sounds.cfg and look for the same thing. Got it?

Gunner, when you unzip the aircraft, some folders should appear in the main P-40 folder. They're called Model, Panel, Sound and Texture. Go to the Panel folder. There's a file in there called 'Panel.cfg.'
Open it in Notepad. If it says 'alias' something, it won't work. Go to your CFS2 directory, and the 'Aircraft' folder, and then for example into the Wildcat folder. Copy the folder in there that's also called 'Panel,' then paste it in the P-40 folder. The '40 will have to be flown with the F4F's panel, but at least you can fly it!
Hope this helps!

actually go here and download the p-40 u have to change nothing for it to fly.It has been redesigned specifically for cfs2,works well except the canopy dont close.
http://thehangar.dogfighter.com/CFS_Planes.htm or here
http://www.combatfs.com/

the only thing is unzip to unzip folders then install the whole folder,for some resean it scatters some folders in the cfs2 aircraft if u unzip it directly there.
