I am having the exact same problems. The computer sees the stick but CFS2 doesn't. I also tried the same steps and my computer locks up tight while trying to assign functions????? I wonder if Athelon has anything to do with it? Is there a patch or something? This sucks! Very, very, dissapointed. -=BAB=- Gunner IP: Logged |

Also, it does seem that there are some issues with Athlons, at least certain configurations. As I have played it successfully, I would hope that Maaco and you can hang until someone figures out a 'cure', as personally I think this sim is a blast, and would hate to think you didn't get a chance to at least check it out because of stupid hardware issues. That is so unfair, particularly with a Microsoft product, as their capability for research and testing really should be limitless, given the financial position it holds.I hope it is resolved, for both of you..I try to keep you both in mind when I do read their forums. Will let you know if I see or hear of anything that might help. ------------------

Thanks Neal,I was on the phone with MS's tech people twice and they could not come up with a solution. We tried everything. I mean everything!
Now they want to bump it up to a higher stage of tech support. Problem is, they won't be back with me for a week! So until then I will just stair at the box. Hanging in there, -=BAB=- Gunner
