Hi, I just finished Voyager, the true story of Dick Rutan and Jeana Yeager's non-stop non-refueled trip around the world.

The plane was designed by Burt Rutan, and featured a structural weight of only 9% of its gross weight. They built and flew the plane relying on volunteer work and donated equipment. Thier achievement doubled the previous record (set by a B-52) and was the first absolute aviation record to be set by civilians since before World War 2.

The book tells the whole story, from Burt's conception of the plane, to the building, training and the flight around the world. The project took about 5 years, and they overcame tremendous challenges.

I heartily recommend this book!
