Even if I managed to save every penny between now and my vacation, the price of an airline ticket to go on the trip would eat all the cash. It is cheaper to fly to Korea than Australia - I wouldn't choose Korea over Australia - been there, did that, hated it.I've decided to look at upgrading my video card. For the price of a ticket just to NZ, I can get a decent 1 Ghz rig. I might as well just go see my bud in Texas and upgrade my computer . IP: Logged |

Have you tried Priceline.com? My parents paid over $600 for a roundtrip flight between Ohio and South Carolina. My sister and her husband paid $250 for BOTH tickets for the same flight! Priceline is awesome she tells me. May be worth checking out IP: Logged |

Ok, I'll see what happens - I chucked in a price for just NZ (free room and board, with 3 chicks..er..my friend has room mates ). If it works, thanks Pete, if it doesn't, thanks, Pete . Sorry about forgoing Australia but that would be pushing things a bit. Maybe next year.IP: Logged |

Dang, I must be too cheap. I got rejected 3 times. I might as well face it that I'll just have to save up and buy that 1ghz T-bird CPU, MB, and memory. I really would like to see what that crocadile hunter guy is talking about - non-snake wise. I don't like being killed by something that doesn't want to eat me.IP: Logged |

Keep trying....the Assie dollar is on a nose dive at the moment....it's at 53.8c US and I reckon NZ wouldn't be too far behind (Probably worse)Once these prices flow through, I'd say it's the cheapest its ever been to come down under.... Cheers, AGAS 5 IP: Logged |

It is probably the American side of the pond which is costing, and the fuel prices. I'll still go ahead and get my passport and try my luck a little closer to my target times. BTW, does Australia have a national motorcyle? US has the Harley, I am just wondering if any other nations have a national motorcycle. IP: Logged |

Australian adopt other country's bikes. Personally I think Aprilia should be our adopted bike. We have a cap at 250cc for beginners and Aprilia 250 is the fastest 250cc production bike. Plus Troy Corser rides the mille in the Superbikes. (And we all love Valentino Rossi-he rides for Honda now but I'll forgive him) TigerII IP: Logged |

Thanks. I was thinking of renting a learning bike here and giving a piece of Australia a once over on one of their bikes. I have to hold off on that until later now. I have 58 days of vacation coming, how long would it take to row it?IP: Logged |
