I just ordered this game after reading an enthusiastic 5 star review in the September issue of CGW and the suggestions in the www.ogr.com forums (mostly nit-picking comments, ie no 'the ai reaks' or 'the graphics bite' just 'could you tweak this part of the ai' and 'I keep getting my butt kicked during night missions') and I am wondering if anyone else has this game. I won't get my copy at least unti Aug 14 since it is sold out. At $45 US a pop, it isn't cheap but it looks awesome!IP: Logged |

It is awesome!
I pre-ordered mine a couple of months before it's release.I can't say enough good things about this game,very well put together manual,no install/setup probs,no bugs as of yet for me.If you like turn based strategy games,this is the best of the lot.mud IP: Logged |

I liked Panzer General (Panzer General 2 was a bit hard to get into), so turn based games are a good break from the click and kill based RTS'. When the people on the forums only complain about small stuff, it is a good game. The stuff they were complaining about was mostly done by grognards because of the details they were commenting on (no starburst at night, etc.). What other game gives you the chance to worry about that?IP: Logged |
