This seems to be a common topic with me, but tonigh, I installed CFS and tryed to give it a chance. But after downloading just two aircraft and trying it, I uninstalled it. Thats a record for me. Anywho, what features about CFS make you wanna gag, or jump with joy? The features that tick me off are...1. Sometimes a ing on the rightside will pop through and magically become visible on the left side. 2. The F**KING HORRIBLE CAMERA CONTROL!!! 3. The in-cockpit zoom sucks a mountain of ass the size of Everest. 4. The shittyness of user created planes. How long does it take them to make a plane, not long appearently, us, months. 5. 2D and (supposedly) 3D cockpits. 6. Paintschemes are no easy task to make. Thats about it. What about you?? And personally, unless they step up the cockpit graphics, i'm not gonna touch CFS2 with a 20ft pole. IP: Logged |

For a while I had fun with CFS. I got all the GOOD user made planes. (there are some good ones) I also have 2 expansion ones for it and I want to get the rest. One of the expansion packs (Combat Pilot) has some pretty nifty planes... P-51b (both British and American) P-38j, Typhoon, the Grasshopper (both British and American) Me-163 Komet, Flyable V-1 bomb, and a Ju-87. I also have the Pacific expasion pack which I enjoyed. I admit the graphics arent the best and the views suck arse... but I like the plane variaty (if you can find the good looking planes. I have around 150 planes and only some of the WWI planes look crappy. The WWII ones that I got look fine) You can also have quite a few planes in the air. I'll buy CFS2 for sure. Even a greater plane selection will be comming with the making of that game.IP: Logged |

I think the graphics are so-and-so. Gameplay sucks. Bad cockpits and the user made planes leave a LOT to be desired!IP: Logged |

I didn't mind it when it first came out, but now it's well under par. the graphics are pretty dodgy. also, i don't know if this happened to everyone, but when i played it, the other planes seemed to be flying in slow motion?!also downloadable planes were a bit on the iffy side sometimes. On the plus side, you could use all the FS-98 planes. it was totally dool using a BAE TSR-2 to bomb the german airfields and rocket away from the enemies! IP: Logged |

By the way, I create planes for MFS and although they do not require the work you guys put in here, I still am proud of them. "Shitty?" bad comment freind. IP: Logged |

I've found a few good planes to use. I liked CFS, bought EAW, sold it, bought SDOE, kept it, and just resurected it on my hd. Now I am back at trying to actually complete a new model for a change. Dang, I have enough info for this mode.IP: Logged |

I was initially enthused about CFS2 despite its subject matter (not the biggest PTO fan) but the more I read about it, the more I became troubled by the fact that the design team didn't seem to be intent on implementing a lot of things that those who bought CFS were clamoring for.Flash IP: Logged | |
