Two wild guesses.

Are you uploading the images to your web site?

Look at the source in your web browser (View|Source). Do the image tags point to your hard drive (file://c:/foo/bar.jpg)? You need to make sure you use relative addressing. (foo/bar.jpg)

Well, you should have the same directory structure on your web site that you do on your local machine. So if you have all your files dumped into one directory on your hard drive, then you should dump them all into the same folder on your web site.

Have you looked at the source in your web browser? I'll bet a quarter that your page is pointed at your hard drive.

It's very important that your source code for the images are pointing to the right directory. This is a common thing among newbies to HTML (myself was included a couple years ago) where you see everything fine on your HD but go to upload and it's all messed up, pics missing etc. When you upload the items to your site they usually go in a root directory folder of some kind. I know my old site looked something like this

..\hawkmodels\FSE\images
rather than
C:\Dreamweaver\hawkmodels\FSE\images

As Mighty just said, just recreate the same directory structure on the host site and you should be fine.
