My trusty old CH Flight Stick Pro has had a bit of vital plastic snap off internally, while I ponder the posibility of repair with drilling, a little steel rod and some epoxy glue, I've been pondering what to replace it with if I can't fix it.A USB CH F-16 Combat stick? (I rather get the F16 fighter stick but I don'rt think it is out in USB yet) A USB Saitek X-36? I don't think I can use my analog pedals with this though. I never like Thrustmaster stuff (while it was available) I didn't like the strong springs. Any other contenders? Hippie IP: Logged |

I personally like Microsofts Sidewinder 3d Pro or Precision Pro. They have many buttons, throttle and the twisty rudder. Plus they work with every thing!IP: Logged |

I've been using my Sidewinder 3d Pro for nearly four years now. I rebuilt it to reduce the slop in the stick after about 2 years, but it hasn't given me the slightest problem since. I don't throw it against the wall now like I did in AirWarrior, so it should go another few, huh?IP: Logged |

I had a Sidewinder 3D pro until recently. It started registering certain positions in down as being up. Made it impossible to fly a sim. I probably should have tried to fix it first. I do like Microsoft's mapping software better but I like the Logitech stick better.IP: Logged |

I highly recommend the Logitech Wingman Force. It is the only force feedback stick that lets you use rudder pedals. I now use TM Elite rudder pedals with it. I used to use CH Pro pedals. The LWF is USB or serial, I use USB and the rudder pedals are plugged into the serial port. This stick has 8 programable buttons, you can make any button a switch button, so you really have 15 programable buttons. Also you can set up the X and Y axis sensitivity for smooth flight. SDOE does not offer much in the way of force feedback, but you can set the centering spring force as strong or weak as you like. At full force you can arm wrestle it. very strong stick. ------------------ Raider 33rd~GS Raiders Site
