WhiskeyBravo Pilot	posted 06-21- 10:40 PM Anybody fly Luftwaffe Commander? I go back to it now and again. Very good flight models, and attention to detail (cowling flaps and all). This was an under rated sim (got its problems but don't all sims?). Give it a try if you like flying German and Russian planes, it sells cheap now. IP: Logged
gterl Pilot	posted 06-22- 02:27 AM mmhhmm ... I tried this but.. well I don't know. The AI always crashed after a short dogfight. The landscape is quite boring. You can't change the skin of a plane. DM is not that perfect. And ... did you ever try to shoot? Man, the tracers look like shot's from a spaceship (like in Star-Wars)! The good points are: - Nice campaigns - A lot of planes in the air - Nice menues ...I removed it from my HD after 2 weeks. Sorry to say that: IT COULD be a good game..but it's not (in my opinion). gterl IP: Logged

graymon Pilot	posted 06-22- 02:42 AM I really could not cope with the 640.480 only.If the game was great this would not be such a major feature I suppose.Anyway,this would have to be improved on let alone anything else to interest me.Recently I had a look for new patches and could not even find a company site so it looks as if the game has been abandoned by them.A pity as the original idea was good. And landing is pretty cool also (coming in over the trees). Like I said, it's not great, but not bad for 15 bucks Oh, and by the way ArgonV, I wouldn't laugh too hard because the flight models are actually better in LC than a lot of the planes in SDOE.
