I wrote to one guy about his 3D models, just to ask if I could use his fighter 3D model for one Rogue Spear mod called WW2 mod.
He did reply that he has too many polygons in his models (like I were afraid of) and told me to come over this forum to ask for 3D models, so, here I am.

So, clearly, I am looking for plane/vehicle 3D models to be used in World War 2 mod for Rogue Spear and its mission pack called Urban Operations.

Myself I know just a bit of 3Dsmax, and I have so far been doing just simple weapon models, because those doesn't have to be complicated due to low polygon count. (its recommended to be within 70-120 polygons, and I've done those bit over it, we don't have anymore P200's, do we?)

If you have some ready 3D models that you're willing to give (or do new ones) for the WW2 mod I would really appreciate it.

(Bren is not mine, its one made by the one who taught me to use 3D studio max, though, i have retextured it zillion times now, and in screenshot it has the poorest textures of mine )

Ju-52, Ju-88, Bf109, Pz-IVh, SdKfz-231, SPW-251/1, M3 halftrack, P-47D, P-51D, Sherman, Kübelwagen, Jeep, couple medium trucks, T-34.

Theres some to choose from
(oh, btw, 70-120 polygons is for weapons, not for those neat vehicles, though, it must be done with sort of low polygons still)

Is it easy to change the skins in RS? Is there a page covering this?

We have quite a few of the objects on your list in FS, but I think you would be breaking copyrights if you used them anywhere else. But it wouldn't hurt to ask.

RS is quite easy to modify.

Well, thats why I am asking for permission of someone whos done one

LOL! sorry, I just got up when I made that post and I wasn't thinking straight.

Is there a website that talks about how to modify stuff in RS?

I assume that the maps are still next to impossible to edit, right?

Yes, maps needs those neat RSE map editors
But weapon and vehicle 3d models can be made..
Though, those must be in .qob or .rob file extension, which is done by a plugin for 3D Studio Max (only V2.5, or if uses higher, then has to export it to .qob/.rob with 2.5)
