Well Charles Gunst has released ECA Panel v3.2 Some of the features include the Ta183 (which we now have a 3D model of thanks to Paulo Morais). He has also included the Sturm versions of the Bf109 and Fw190. They have the underwing cannon pods so commonly found on the intercept aircraft of WWII.
And one of my favorite additions is the Ju87G-1. This is the tankbuster. It has the 2 37mm cannon pods under the wings and really kicks some Sherman butt!

I will hopefully put some screen shots up soon of the updates.

Is there any chance that those 3d models could be converted to SDOE format? Or vice versa? It would make a lot of sense for both groups of people to help each other out.

Well from my knowledge I think that the 2 models are completely different. EAW doesn't use moving control surfaces and such.....

You must remember that the purpose of EAW was to create massive (256+ aircraft) missions. So detail wasn't a big deal.
I will let you know if anything happens however.
