Ya, Janes F/A-18 and DI's Superhornet are two exceptional peices of naval aviation simulation. DI's has deck crews that taxi you around on the deck by giving you hand signals. Not too much on radio communication. The carrier dosen't pitch and roll and has no wake, making landing approches diffucult from a long ways out.Di's movies are exceptional, althogh the acting isn't 5 star, but it gets you pepped up to fly. Janes has exceptional graphics, avioncs, realistic radar, and pretty good comunications, although it lacks a deck crew. The carrier is picthing and rolling depending on the sea states and the storms are almost frighteningly realistic. It does have inflight refueling,to give you that lengthened flight range that is required almost on some bombing missions. I would probably recommend Janes F/A-18 over DI's for realism.------------------ IP: Logged |

Thanks for your input. Does F18 have mission building properties and an on-line option?IP: Logged |

I'd go for MiG Alley or Janes F/A-18IP: Logged |
