I am sitting here watching a race (I pitted, and switched the driver to AI because I am not that good a driving it yet) on a rainy track. Some racing sims simulate rain drops, SCGT simulates a reflective wet surface, thunder, and tire tracks. Simply awesome. I actually used some cheat codes and bought a spiffy new GT1 class Saleen Mustang and maxed it out (cheat codes, I just had to try the Mustang.) The driver is doing ok after starting 2 laps down, the guy is back up to #12 at 34 of 68 laps.I am hoping they make a SCGT 2 in the near future. Simply awesome. OOO! Lap 32 and now at 10th place. They just need to tweak the UI, loosen up the AI, add visual physical damage, and speed up the engine, and I'd be a happy camper. IP: Logged |

Spanky here... Yeah for sure man its my fav computer racing game. Also grand prix legends. That games damage physics are the best. Theres all kinds of add ons for SCGT. Includeing a damage patch that i never tried. Supposedly it adds the visible damage. IP: Logged |

I've had a bit of rough from the AMOS (? I think) car set add on. It made SCGT look for files that either weren't there or corrupt. It might be my copies of the set. The '99 Ferrari formula 1 car from Tom's garage (link available from http://www.3dracing.net ) is nice (although it was put in the GT3 class??? and cost 50? credits). I hope he keeps it up, since he is planning on moving on to the 2000 season. I have a friend who doesn't beleive that the game looks as good as the pictures. Also, it is nice they took the time to try to add computer mistakes. One day, I'll try it online. IP: Logged |

Spanky here... Every time I try any online racing its all laggy. I tried with GPL. I haven't tried with SCGT. I wish people would do more older cars. Some old stangs and stuff. A ford gt40 would rock. IP: Logged |

NFS III has a 68' FB (GT.500, I think) and Nascar 2 has a GT40 out. Sure would be nice if there were some vintage cars. I am closely watching Motorsim's SCCA Trans Am news to see how thier 68-71 racing sim is going. Yep, the years may be wrong....IP: Logged |

I kind of hope they do have classics out (classics? I drove a 67' stang in high school...I feel old now....). What would be great is a '66 GTS Hertz to zip around the track with.IP: Logged |
