Aui Pilot	posted 03-24- 01:21 PM I have a little problem that I've been trying to solve. After copying my backup files from the CD to the hard drive they're obviously marked as 'write protected' - but how can I remove this and make the hole directory structures writable? I can change the 'write protected' attribute of the files one level at a time but as some trees are rather deep I wonder if anyone knows a way to change the attributes for the whole tree? Aui Pilot	posted 03-25- 10:23 AM I did... The command was right but your arguments wasn't. It seemed instead to be attrib -R c:\temp\a\. /S where /S stands for the whole directory structure and - for remove attribute. At least it worked just the way I wanted it to...
