Spanky here...

WOW thats quite the jump.

I'm not sure. I guess you can try if it overheats it will lock up or not boot. If it seems stable it could be ok. It would be better if you have a temp sensor.

If you can get any thermal paste i would use some. That would really help. Also you might need another case fan depending on your situation.

Do you have any extra fans or just the powersupply fan sucking are out?

You will probly have to check out some OCing sites.

That speed could play with your pci and agp busses. What other options do you have.

My board has tons of options. 1/1.5/2 dividers for agp. can run the bus at plus and minus 33mhz for the ram.

Does yours have any options like that?

Er..no options other than 100,102,112 and 135 mhz as selections for clock frequency I guess others would be jumpers of some sort and I don't fancy tinkering with them too much(blow another mb and the wife'll kill me!) My v3 2000pci is clocked up to 166mhz and has a dual fan set up from 3dfxcool and is fine. Thanx for the advice spanky i'll check some o/c sites
