The most wanted and anxiouly awaited aircraft aside, how about a little poll on the most beautifull fighter plane ever?In the three categories I would cast my votes as follows: The Most Beautifull French Arsenal VG-33 (or any of the VG-30 series)
Bell P-39
Messerschmitt Me 309 The Most Beautiful (radial engine) Mitsubishi "Zero"
F6F Wildacat The Meanest, Most Striking, Weirdest Grumman F2F/F3F
Piaggio P.119
Gotha 229
ah, and the French Arsenal-Delanne 10, what a cool bird! (I already decided quater of a century ago, that the Spit was the most beautifull and it got boring after a while

The Fw190A, on the ground with it's canopy open. In flight, canopy closed, it's rather ugly..but it takes on a whole different character with it's canopy back, asthetically gorgeous.IP: Logged |

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHH!!!!! BIG mistake. Ferget to include the Spit. I think the early marks are the prettiest, but I'm not saying the other MK's weren't. From the MK XIV upwards, the wings were totally new, there was a new engine, and there wasn't one "original" Spitfire part left. Also, in the words of Alex Henshaw "the marks II and V could do two and a half flick roll if you yanked the stick over, whereas the MK.IX only could do one and a half. The later could do even fewer."------------------

I'm voting with Siggi on the FW-190a, but I also like the P-51 and the Frank ( I think it was the Ki-84? I might be wrong but I got the nickname right).

Siggi,No, it's not in PP5.2. I will be releasing it but it's not going to be compatible with any Planepacks. The cockpit 3d was also modified as well as the textures. Yardstick did the textures. IP: Logged |
