Looking Glass's new fligt sim: Fighter Command:Thunder over Europe (seems very similar to SDOE I know- but it supposedly has night fighting (w/ searchlights), a torpedo version of the 88 (probablt not flyable?) and their site was supposed to be back up after the new year.

Spanky here... No shit eh guys! I guess thats another sim down the tubes. Sucks ass. I would say email the developers but with the way people treat emails you won't get an answer. Just cause their to damn lazy. Oh well. Not much we can do besides bitch.

Yeah. I went to it via Tail's site and granted there isn't a whole lot there, the site is under total reconstruction. Now, if I were a game developer, I wouldn't spend precious budget dollars on a new site for a game that was going to be cancelled. Would you?  Werner ------------------

Spanky here... Werner: They were supposed to be back on the first I thought. People should learn not to set dates to things not under their control or make sure its there. Specialy people trying to hype and eventualy sell a product. We will see, I hope its not gone and i hope its really good. But this doesn't look like a good sign. IP: Logged |

no FCTOE has not been cancelled,saw a post regarding it somewhere on combat sim,supposedly janes got involved and will only make the game better,different planes more bombers,nite missions,and you online buddies get to man the guns on ur bombers  IP: Logged |

Hawker; all that stuff was already supposed to be in the game. I think if it's going to be released under "Jane's" label now, we won't be getting the aircraft editor any more.  Hopefully it's just a change of name, and not a major restructuring of the games design. And I wish they would make some sort of announcement, and soon... IP: Logged |
