Author Topic:   watching Real TV... lil bastard Pilot posted 01-17- 07:50 PM                gosh bros, that was horrible: it was an american warbirds airshow, a P38 is makin some acro manouverings, it starts a roll over the runway, but after the second roll it carthweels on the ground and blows up on fire, smashing against some parked planes!!! I had never heard of this before, the speaker said the pilot was a first timer in the 38... Do any of u know when and where it happened? There were a couple of famous warbirds taxiyng between the cameraman and the runway: P-51 "Big Beautiful Doll" and a pair of B-25 (one of them from the Flying Tigers Warbird Restoration Museum)... lil b ------------------ Fighter Squadron Factory IP: Logged Vahn Pilot posted 01-17- 11:12 PM             i think it was like 2 yrs ago. i remember hearing about it after it happened IP: Logged
