well, since buying my new m/board (ABIT KT7A-RAID) I've been able to tweak my Duron a ittle more, so I tested it using SiSoft Sandra 2001 Pro, the results were interesting.. compair my Duron 900 o/c 1044mhz to that P4 1.5 there, don't forget this is only a Duron, 200mhz FSB with normal SDRAM not DDR.. my Duron costs £45 and the P4-1.5 costs £157, also don't forget these tests are pure cpu power

so... why would anyone pay more for a P4 when even a puny Duron comes so close in performance, I'd spend the same money for the P4 on a far superior Athlon myself (Athlon XP 1700 only costs £142!)
