i've been tossing this idea around for sometime and I've been talking to a few people and I think with alittle work it can be done. (if you have this done already then let me know)

I want to hook up real WW2 throat mic and head set up to the PC to use while flying WW2 sims online. Now, I know there is going to be some work and maybe some converting to get this to work but do you guys think its worth the effort to have a more realistic feel when flying?

Probably more trouble than worth, keying a mike is complicated enough for some of us. Just my opinion. If you really want to do something that will "immerse" a person build a full scale P-51 cockpit and I'll buy it from you.

You *can* get a P-51 cockpit at www.xtremeairracing.com . There's a link to it on the menu bar at the left.

Thanks semmern, I'll go take a look, neat!

WOW! Looks good but for 50K I can build my own out of broom handles and a poly tarp, too rich for my blood! Thanks anyway semmern.
