For general information, click here

The Ground Pack 2 is currently uploaded as 6 ~4MB parts at simfiles. This is because I have been experiencing problems with uploading it as a single 20MB file via FTP.

As with GP1, you will need to download each part and unzip the parts (ending in *.001, 002, etc) to the same directory. Then using HJ Split, click "Join" and locate the first part of the GP (*.001), and join the parts. After joining, you will have the GP2 setup exe built. Run this exe to install the GP2 and PLEASE read the readme and follow the prompts. The process is fairly straightforward but if anyone has problems, post here and I'll help out.

Ground Pack 2; Part 1 (4.1MB)

Ground Pack 2; Part 2 (4.1MB)

Ground Pack 2; Part 3 (4.1MB)

Ground Pack 2; Part 4 (4.1MB)

Ground Pack 2; Part 5 (4.1MB)

Ground Pack 2; Part 6 (63KB)

These links will direct you straight to simfiles where you can download the parts. They are about 4MB each for ease of download.

Enjoy it!!

Vugel, did you use a download accelerator? I've heard they can cause trouble.

Also, this may seem obvious, but did you download and unzip all 6 parts to the same folder?

You should have the following files unzipped in a folder before you join them:

GP2.exe.001
GP2.exe.002
GP2.exe.003
GP2.exe.004
GP2.exe.005
GP2.exe.006

Verify you have all the above files in the same folder then run HJ Split and Join them by simply locating the first file.

That's pretty much all I can think of as the problem now...is there anybody else having trouble joining the download?

I certainly hope this helps.

As an alternative to downloading the parts above...

Nat has so kindly offered to host GP2 as one whole file on his FTP server doing away with the need to fiddle with parts and HJ Split, etc.

Visit

ftp://public@213.106.145.145/

and download the file named "GP2.exe". Thanks again Nat for doing this. Cheers!

Hi Buster,

Just to clarify further, once you've joined the parts, you get an exe that looks like this right?

The exe itself should be called GP2. Run that and it'll install the add-on.

I have tried numerous times to try and find somewhere that I can D/L the ground pack2. So far...no luck.
Can someone tell me where I can get the D/L or have it emailed to me.
Simfiles I think is down every time I try to get on the site. I have also tried the FTP site from Nat, but no success.

I'm sorry for noticing this so late MadDawg, simfiles is currently down but I hear it will be back online soon. In the meantime though, here's the updated FTP link for GP2:

ftp://public:24753406@213.106.145.206

Have fun!
