Can some post one for download it seems that when I installed the game i got neither a startup.ppf or a keyboard.ini I know one of you guys gave me a startup.ppf but in order to modify new keys I need a Keyboard.ini because it is kinda of hard to land without a hook on a carrier and other little things would be nice to add to it.

Have you done a "file search" for them? If they aren't on your drive after you did a fresh install then your install is hosed.

The keyboard.inp should be in your Fighter Squadron folder and the startup.ppf in your Media folder. You also need to put them in the folder with the patch if you are using it

When you click on what? The .inp and .ini files? If they are empty then your installation is hosed like I said. They are integral files. If they didn't install properly then no telling what else is hosed.

Double click on it and it should open in note or word pad. To see how big a file is, right click on it, then click on properties. If it says 0 bytes yer buggered.

You may need to associate .inp with an application, could that be it?

IMHO the stock install doesn´t host keyboard.inp and startup.ppf, they should be packed in one of the parfiles. Btw, 71hemicuda, check your mailbox

Some more BTW: Werner, your side became ex-cel-lent! I only miss images of the Ju188. And, some more OT : Do you know a link to Razers Soviet P39Q? (First seen it on AF)

Thanks Vau!

I just downloaded 6.1 last night so I'm going to go through and update Rendsburger's List and the comparison tables. DJH's plane list project will help me out a lot there, I was going to link to the relevant beta pages eventually anyways, so that will save me the time. I was skimming the 6.1 readme last night and noticed there are some gaps, including the Ju188. Having linked up all the moving ground vehicles, plane updates are next.

Oh, and I don't know about the P39Q, better ask spin about that, or Argon, I think he did the P39->P39Q conversion.
