*The Ark Royal pitches up and down and side to side. The carrier can simulate three 'sea states' Calm - Light - Heavy. The Ark Royal starts any mission in the 'Light' sea state but if you take control of the carrier you can change it's motion.

*The carrier deck is more aircraft friendly. Hidden collision points which caused aircraft to flip over or explode in mid air have been eliminated.

*Updated damage model incorporates some effects Nat used on his 'crippled carrier' model. These include burning bomb carters on the deck. The number of textures used has also been reduced.

It is IMPORTANT that you get an update of the Supermarine Seafire Mk I (Version 2.4) which had to be modified for the 'picthing' deck. Other carrier aircraft such as the Corsair Fu41a, Sea Hurricane, Sea Mosquitio and A6m2-n 'Rufe' operate satisfactorily from the 'pitching deck' Ark Royal without modification.

However the Seafire / Sea Hurricane / Sea Mosquito do not because 1.5.2.7 doesn't support 'breaking DOFs' airfoil switches which disables engines, detaches tail weights, etc. Hopefully this will be fixed soon.

Try the Ark Royal in 1.5.1 and then in 1.5.2.7 but open your mission file and save it again, first (this sometimes fixes such problems). I'd be interestd in the result.
