Why should you download it?

1) because it gives you historically accurate gunsight reticules.
2) because those that have tested it comment that it makes deflection shooting easier; and
3) because it fixes the point of view on many of the sights that was causing your aim to be off - this may have something to do with no. 2

It comes in 2 flavours:

High detail - which includes all the files for JT's high detail, Spitfire cockpits (now converted for every Spit in PP6.1 and the Vc to boot) and the high detail P-38 and P-47D cockpits.

This is for use with the low detail default cockpits for the Spitfires, P-38J and P-47D.

This pack has no effect on on-line compatibility.

Note: the US Navy Mk VIII reticule is included in the pack but will have to wait for an update to the Corsair files from Jedi - hopefully these should make the next Planepack as the MkVIII is one of the most visually appealing sights..
