I know many of you can't wait to get your hands on the Updated Pony. Although it will still be a while until it is complete, here is something to play with. Please give us any suggestions that you have. P-51D Beta 1

Thanks to Pang, He did the work on the FM a long time ago.
Special thanks to Jedi, He did 90 % of the work so far.
Now it is up to Zoy and I to finish it up.

TO INSTALL:
Just unzip to your Fighter Squadron Directory.
THESE ARE THE IMPROVEMENTS THAT HAVE BEEN MADE
3D model:
Prop spinner shape
Prop spinner now part of prop - (now it spins too)
Prop tips are square
3D exhaust pipes
3D rudder and elevators
3D air intakes
Cockpit now a separate .sm file (to allow the option of reflective canopy glass)
Canopy now opens (press "Q")
Moving joystick (This will be optional)
Throttle improved
Clock and fuel gauge now work
Landing gear indicator works
Pilot model:
Head tracks target
Reaches overhead on bailout.
Arm opens canopy (removed - due to canopy opened by use of a hand crank)
Damage model:
Landing gear indicator (shows if landing gear is badly damaged)
PLANED IMPROVEMENTS
3D model:
Fix texture mapping on spinner, prop, fuselage, rudder and horizontal stabilizers
Add canopy glass reflection
Make exhaust pipes separate texture map
Damage model:
Multiple stages of engine damage
Radiator damage
Oil stains on windshield if engine is hit
Visual damage to fuselage, wings and control surfaces
Damage to landing gear if lowered at to high of air speed
CURRENT PROBLEMS
Texture mapping
FM seems to have changed (it is more stable) although all the numbers are the same.
