If you are an Aces Over Europe fan (for those of you who dont know, it was a revolutionary WWII sim developed by Dynamix that came out in 1993-4) go to this web site. http://members.xoom.com/timoleon
I think you will find it very interesting. I have a project Ive ben working on for a while for it (if you want it e-mail me and if you would like to know of other hacks out there, e-mail me). if you already knew about it, great! If you didnt, it might interest you some.

WOW! thanks for pointing this out. I liked AOE. Although Aces of the Pacific had better gameplay. Those are not 'realistic' sims (in terms of pure FM) but are excellent games IMHO.
Now I've been unable to run AOE on my 2 latest machines (P200, C466). It would only run on an old P133 with 24 megs of ram only. I read something about a bug in HIMEM.SYS in french versions of MS-DOS. But who wants to fight with MS-DOS anymore? And reboot everytime you want to use a different programs? Remember the hours you spent making boot menus and optimizing your CONFIG.SYS?

LoL about MS-Dos. Actually, I can run most DOS games on my latest PC (A P3 500 with 96 Megs of RAM and a Voodoo3). I have it set up good for both Windows 98 and MS-Dos. I even have AOE running in a DOS prompt which requires at least 604k of conventional memory to run under Windows 98. Amazing huh?
