OK, it's done, fixed and all working very nicely indeed thankyou. Big thanks to mposis for sorting out the prob with the AA guns, and thanks to WW for letting me nibble away at some of his code for the Cargo ship.I don't know if I'm supposed to or not, but I love watching this ship burst into flames and slowly sink watched it 4 times last night just cause it looked so damn good Hope you al like it Project Yamato is now about 50% complete, almost completely built in Max and getting ready to move over to OPS with it... this is a BIG Ship! (dunno how FR will suffer yet.. lol) Anyway, a couple of pics of the final Akizuki... btw, link to my site is at the bottom, it's posted as before in the Ground Units section ------------------ JV~44 "Naturlich" If you can't beat em.... out run em! there again, you could go buy a shiny new F4U, and kick some butt!!! Nat - great work! Thanks! But, you need to supply a direct link to your download as your pages take forever to come up on the computer. IP: Logged |

sorry about how slow the site loads.. that was one worry for me when I put the front page together that way, but once your system has it cached it should load pretty quick (although xoom itself seems slow to me recently) anyway, as requested here's the actual link for direct d/l http://members.xoom.com/naturlich/akizuki.zip ~Nat~ IP: Logged |

Nat, Another fine accomplishment by you and others. The detail is outstanding, esp. the aa guns. I took a slew tour of the Akizuki and the detail everywhere is most excellent... Salute. PsiIP: Logged |

Thanks PSIThe Yamato will be a much better design all round, if things work the way I want, then you will have to destroy each individual gun position before they die, I was tinkering with the thought of having the ship keel over aswell when it's detroyed, but decided to save this for smaller ships to save on poly's, the Yamato is being built to scale, so I have to find away to keep poly counts down, so I've started removing ones that aren't needed, like the hull for instance below water level. But really, you need to see the Akizuki dmaged.. the fire looks so damn realistic.. till it sinks ) IP: Logged |

I am having a weird problem.First when I downloaded the ship it worked great. My only problem was I could not have it with the Akagi in the same mission. I thought I must have had some files sharing folders or soemthing. Anyway, now after re-installing both ships....I get the Akagi, but not the Akizuki! It doesn't even show in the selection list of ground/ship objects. Any ideas? Thanks I love the ship, and can't wait for the Yamamoto. just check to make sure that the Akizuki is installed properly, that the ppf file for it is there, I've not had any problems myself with having the Akagi and Akizuki in the same mission, although I am having that kind of problem with the Yamato right now.I hope it's just an instal problem, check it out and let me know IP: Logged | |
