Hi all!

This is beta 2 of the Ju 88C-6. Changes are:

  1. Changed gunpods to the correct shape
  2. added inertia and drag to the big gunpod
  3. added a 5cm anti-tank gun

Damage by AAA will still cause the game to freeze, but I hope to have this straightened out by the next release.

Get your's here:

BTW, does anybody know how to make the muzze-flash bigger?

It looks a lot more accurate now. Are you going to model the 75mm cannon? You know the one that could sometimes bend a prop or crumple the nose?
BTW can you drop it? The real one could release it quick if any thing bad showed up so it could get away which would be handy in this game!
Thanks
Snake

It looks way cooler now Royohboy.
It seems really hard to aim the cannon now though. Is there a lot of drop in the trajectory?

Hi Snake!

You bet there's a lot of drop in the 5cm gun. I found the relevant values on the web, and yes, muzzle velocity is low, and projectile weight is heigh. It fires a lot like how I expected. I think I won't model the 7,5cm gun, since things will get worse, and AFAIK the a/c it was installed on had the A-4's glass nose.
There's a problem with making the gun droppable, AFAIK this doesn't work.

My advice against tanks is: for serious business use the double 37s.

BTW, did you get the scanner back?
