This is to announce the first beta-release of my Ju 88C-6 (based on Lector's G-7).

It features a new nose, textured canopy-frame, gunpods and 3,7cm guns as an optional loadout. Radar-antennae change according to loadout chosen.

Get it here: www.mcnett.org/fst/users/pwuesten/ju88c6_beta1.zip
The gunpods still don't generate drag, but that's about it.
Criticism, suggestions and bug-reports welcome.

Peter

Heya Royohboy...

I flew it around a bit and she's real nice. There is one observation I made though about the Hanger mission- I got an instant CTD. Went in and noticed that under properties for the plane, you had 0 fuel. After fixing that, it worked fine!! Nice job!

Great looking plane! One bug though...even after I set the fuel level to 500, the game freezes up solid when the plane gets hit in the antitank mission. I'll try to make another mission with it and see if it still freezes up.

Diego,
today I noticed the same thing. Strange, when I tested the mission before everything went OK. I'll investigate into it.

I tried your plane/planes royohboy. Really nice work!!! And very cool way you've found to get other versions. If someone could make Fw190 gunpods next...

Ok the game crashed a few times but I think only when the aircraft was destroyed or in the Tank mission. But a second ago I crashed the plane and it was fine. It looks really cool though and thanks for the Sherman!!!
I have some close up pics of the nose of the Ju-88 and the cannons used if you want them.

Snake,
thanks for your feedback. The Sherman is the one that came with SDOE, though. Can you please post the pics of the Ju88 and the guns?

Thanks again,

Peter

Sure no problem but and theres always a but!
My brother gave our scanner away to a guy yesterday for a while. I'll be getting it back in about a week. If you want to wait?
I have one of the big cannon under the nose maybe 50cm+ and it says it could sometimes damage the nose or props with the blast!
