Yes, it is true!! I have been - dare I say it - unfaithful! There! After weeks of fighting, and resting, and then fighting some more - I have been flying Rowan's BoB! *sob* Tweaking this, battling that, setting this, resetting that....I'm not sure the actual battle wasn't easier than getting the thing to run. But I have, and...yes...*choke*sob*...I am hooked.

I need several of your best, Sir Hawk, to drown my craving. And my sorrow - I have lost more Spitfires in 3 weeks than Britain lost in all of WWII!! Yes, yes, it is a frustratingly difficult sim to run; it is buggy as Hell ( I hear there are even bugs in the campaign - how can they tell? I can't even figure out what it MEANS??????); it stutters and jerks and shakes; it's graphics are only nominally better than SDOE's; and it is addicting to my passion for the Spitfire and Hurricane!

I am in sad shape - I need my SDOE, I need it badly ( which, now that I think of it, is how I fly it! ), and if I can only swoop once more in my trusty SDOE Spit, I will be happy. But! Not until I have toasted all who enter ( and have entered ) here, and who may be entering here, and who may be in residence up at Hill Top House, and who may be passing through ( anywhere ) at any time...in other words, if Cheeky hasn't chewed completely through the storeroom, until I have made a serious dent in the stock!

Following which, I may just pour myself up the hill to Hill Top House for a good night's - er - rest. By the Bye, I met Ilsa tonight - remember I mentioned her? Well, it was rumored she was free-wheeling; I think that can be confirmed, I am sure she has a axle disconnected.

More rumors; seems old man Rowan's Spit was delivered a few parts shy, and the blighters who allowed this are hurriedly throwing together a bit of a new chassis. Mayhap we will see it sometime in March. It would also seem that despite statements to the contrary, the model shipped to the states may be in nearly as dishevelled a condition. This could bode ill in the land of many happy returns.

Awww, all this yappin' made me thirsty again. Say! Do you still have that German WW1 helmet/souvenir? I gots me a idea...hey, Ilsa!! Ilsa?
