Down in their bunkers as the bell tolled.
It rang 12 times and the computer clocks rolled.
They covered their heads waiting for the end.
Y2k had come for real, this wasn't pretend.
The bunker was full of food and provisions.
The doomsayers heads so full of visions.
Planes falling out of a clear blue sky.
Blackouts, riots, we're all gonna die!
They awoke to bad news, thier fears were in vain.
The earth, the people, everything did remain.
The power was on, the markets were full.
The doomsayers message was chock full of bull.
Their "The end is nigh" billboards, meaningless drivel.
The y2k bug caused nary a snivel.
Out of thier bunkers they crawled back in shame.

Now, this I like...hehehehee!!!!!!!Way to go, Archy!! You'll make me like poetry yet!!  Whats up?? More online, fewer in the Playpen?? Hey...I'm buying!! Esox didnt shoot me down tonight! After these large turnouts, a little cool refreshment is absolutely a MUST!! Ok...I admit it...I've slacked, too...but I miss Jade!! So set em up, Hawk....and one for any other pilots returning from these online madhouses lately. Great fun!!
