Hey All,
How is everyone? I didn't hear what everyone had planned for the New Millenium.....has anyone got anything exciting planned?? I ask because it's only one day away here now and I dont really have anything planned. I kinda forgot, to be honest. This year has gone so fast I cant believe its over allready. Anyone got any fears about the dreaded Y2K bug?
I'm sure we will all be fine....wont we??
Well, hope next year is better than the last, drink up, be merry and blow me a kiss at 12o'clock.

Jade, Happy New Year to you and Kat.
Not much planned because I'm on call in case anything goes wrong at work, so I'll be sitting around doing nothing and hopefully NO calls. Do some water skiing for me Jade, I'll be taking the boat out on the lake sometime in late March or early April for some water skiing myself, can not wait!

Since the Millenium is roughly a year away do I have to wait that long to blow you a kiss(es)?

Y2K bug is not a big deal to the average home computer user. (as long as you don't have a 386 or something haha) 486s and above that DO fail will rollover to 1900 instead which means setting them to 2000 before running scandisk or something date sensitive. (ofcouse installing the software patches are a good Idea too ) There may be a few problems with ICs but nothing to cause alarm just maybe some inconvenace.

Well I'm on vacation anyway- and if a Y2K hits, I'm sure my school will be cancelled...ahh the life of a teacher...Happy New Year! Just think, if the electricity goes out, all those bright city lights will no longer block out the stars! Maybe that's not such a bad thing...

Ah,methinks you guys got paid time and a half for sitting on butt and saying "told you so" at one minute past twelve on the 01-01-00 ("don't those numbers look sweet")and good luck to ya.Played my first game of golf for the year yesterday and kicked ass!!! the old boy has still got life in him(and a sweet swing).Hmmm also likes to brag a bit!!
