Thanks for the kind words! My intention was indeed to touch on the plane creation capabilities of OpenPlane and pay tribute to the plane makers by putting the "blueprint" in the background.For anyone interested, I also strove for balance by including:
-Something from each of the three original nations (it may not be 100% clear, but the blueprint in the background is a British Manchester IA)
-A single-engined fighter, a twin engined fighter-bomber, and a bomber
-An original plane, a user created one, and one still in beta
I also kept it relatively small (it fits without scrolling on a maximized 640x480 display) so it wouldn't slow the site down.
Also, if it wasn't clear to the powers that be on the site, you may lift the graphic from the link above if you do decide to use it. As I said originally, the only other changes I made to implement it on my test version were to tweak the table fsicgold7.jpg existed in and center the graphic.
