I have problems only when I'm online, the textures are randomly re-distributed, although it seems to be a problem with some planes more than others. When I fly the 109 for instance, the canopy has the "dirt" texture so I can't see outside. Enemy 190's are made of the flame texture, and the spit's prop is solid.

Yes, I have killed the texture cache.

I'm sure this is FAQ'able stuff, but can someone help me with this?

Maury, I had this same problem recently, my prop on the P-51D was solid and the tex on the 109 was um, strange, kind of a smiley fire thing. My conclusion was that it was a corrupt mission because I flew another mission with the stang and it was fine. One thing that comes to mind is that in this mission I had a Lancaster, B-17G, B-17F, two 109G's a Spit and the stang. Maybe to many textures! FQ

Yup-- find the mission in your Media/Missions/Multiplayer folder, copy it and put it in the folder of the terrain it is in (Actually-- no matter what folder you actually put it in, it will play in the terrain the mission is made in-- but for the sake of finding it to play, it should be in it's appropriate folder.

Then- start the game, hit Missions tab and in that terrain, the mission should be there.

or, go to start a network game but chose LAN and play by yourself.

Ok, I did this. I selected an online mission that takes place over Dover, moved it to the Dover folder, and played it. Sure enough, my prop in the Spit was solid green, the wings were low-res, and when viewing from the outside my plane was made out of the flame texture (and thus largely see-through).

I then selected another Dover mission, and it worked fine.

So now that we know the problem is inside the missions, the question is why?
