So whatīs the problem with the new loadouts.
Nobody use it online because there are a lot of file missmatches.
I know that whe havnīt had those trouble if whe played "Clash of Eagles" when all used the new loadouts (well it was the older version with loadouts in folders and not in a parfile), but there is much trouble since the parfile version.
How many different parfile (data12.par) loadouts are released,yet jeeves?
To the gamers,are you sure you put the data12.par file it into the media folder and not anywere else? And donīt forget to rename the aircraft folder, if you have old loadouts.ppf files in the aircraft folder.I realy like to solve this problem so all can use the new loadouts online without trouble. Heya Rends..The only problem is that people have been downloading the older version from simfiles that is not in the parfile, but are loose files. I can't edit anything in simfiles as it say that feature is down for maintenance-- so I can't get rid of that version  The version from WingsWithWires is the latest and the one that should be used. Likely because they downloaded the one pointed to by the link from the latest min-scenario a few weeks back. This takes the form of a number of loadout.ppf's in individual folders. THIS SHOULD NOT BE USED! IF YOU HAVE A BUNCH OF PLANE FOLDERS WITH ONLY A LOADOUT IN THEM, DELETE THEM! If you have the new one, the data12.par, everything should be fine. But if you have BOTH, the ones in the folder override the parfile, and you're back to square one. Maury IP: Logged |
