I've surfed 'til I dropped but to no avail. I'd make my own but lack a template. And BTW, and this may seem very simple to some people; how do I attach a screen-shot to a post like this. Any help is appreciated.

I know there's a hi-res. for the Dora (D) model but don't know where to d/l it
though I'll send it to you a.s.a.p. If no one gives you a link here, alright 
I too wish there were more hi-res. templates out there (in particular the Fw 190As) but I guess we'll have to make them ourself to see that come true  I'm working on a hi-res. for the Arado 196 seaplane & a new P51 baremetal tex. with more shine to it myself.

Go to www.simfiles.com I think they have 3 Hi-res Fw-190 skins to download.If I understand correctly you have to have your own web page to be able to post a picture on the Info center. Hope this helps a bit.IP: Logged |

Thanks you two for your reply. I picked up the hirez for the 'D' awhile back from simfiles. I think there are 3 of them. The 190D template looks like other 190s. I will test to see if it works on the 190A's (looks like it will) so I may even try to use those as a template for the A's. Thanks to those who created them and I hope they won't mind if I alter them a bit.
I don't have a webpage but I have several screen-shots that I call 'jumpshots'. They are varying pictures of pilots jumping out of planes. Some pilots are floating to the ground as you see their burning plane below. And some are in the gunsights of the enemy. Some are different and might be called 'Art'. I got the idea after my son, age 5, prefers to press Ctrl-J rather than fly the plane. He loves the Ju52. cheers, Recon3 IP: Logged |

I've been working on a 190 template for a while. The Dora skins don't fit exactly. I'll put a little more effort into it. These things take a while in 1024. It used to take at least 8 hrs. to do a good 256. I'll get back to it, but it won't be ready for a while. BULLET IP: Logged |

Well...I slapped a D skin on the A and it didn't look too bad and made my 'unretouched' Scramble missions a little more interesting. The 'Dora' nose is longer and I guess that's one of the things to change. Is there anything else I'm missing?..maybe the lines on the skin lining up properly with the canopy? I havent looked at it real closely but hey Bullet, anything do do for this will be greatly anticipated.cheers, Recon3 IP: Logged |
