The A-36 wont be released till tomorrow cause the C crapped out this morning and I had to do a complete rebuild to get it out now. The background textures are everything but gauges...skins, pilots, etc. I tried in D3D and OpenGL, patched and unpatched, and deleted my texture caches but nothing changed. 1.3 Ghz Athlon with a 32 MB GeForce 2 GTS and 512 133Ram. Razer Pilot	posted 01-07- 05:01 PM Jerry, seems you don't have the P-51B installed. I just checkmy cockpit tex ref and I forgot to change those to look for the stuff in the P51c folder. A temp fix is to download the P-51B here http://www.fightersquadron.com/flightline/fshangar/p51b.html I'll release a patch with the right scheme and the fixed cockpit folder. sorry about that. P-51 C Patch this will add the right scheme since it needs the D-day stripes to be historicly accurate and the fixed cockpit to point to the p51c folder so you don't "need" the P-51B to make it work. I rechecked all the stuff in the cockpit folder and everything is in there. Another thing, the picture of my babe is missing, does this tell you anything that I might have done wrong. Razer Pilot	posted 01-08- 09:49 AM Maddawg, You've installed the new C in the wrong folder. If you look in your aircraft folder you'll see "Aircraft" "Gui" "Training" "Hangar" and "Readme" Delete these cause this is from the P-51C. You need to install the plane to your media folder not the aircraft folder. You DO need to install the patch to your aircraft folder. good rule to follow is always look at the directory structure in the zip to see that the folders are listed. When I zip up a new plane you will NEVER install to your aircraft dir cause they come with missions gui pic and hangar info. This is for offical releases only. Betas don't count. MadDawg Cadet	posted 01-08- 10:50 PM Razer, Thanks for the info, I was able to fly the beta. One odd thing though, when I play the Landing training mission I hit the G button to toggle the landing gear and the gear just falls out! I had to just pull up and fly around for awhile before belly landing out of fuel. Any ideas why the gear fell off the plane? IP: Logged

Razer Pilot	posted 01-08- 11:42 PM yes, lower your speed below 200 and you'll be fine. The drop tanks came with the offical B release. You need to add the following line in your startup file (its in the readme) "aircraft/weapons/51dtanks.sm" IP: Logged
SteveTheDrummer Pilot	posted 01-09- 03:41 AM Gaaawd Damn Razer I'm stunned I took the p51C up in the tundra terrain a sunny day with that blue sky that you use for the pacific, the F.M. felt so real and that terrain is so good looking ...an eloge to Da Jug Head and yourself for a superb matching of realistic f.m. & wicked 3D model (200 % fun flying). Ps. the only strange thing I saw in the C cockpit, despite patching was 4-5 crates in the lower left of the panel ?!? but I'll just pretend it's a matchbox in case I need a smoke Ds. IP: Logged
