Topic: Detailed Lancaster (or Manchester) 3-views?

Although my high-res Lanc is progressing OK, I am not over pleased with it due to a lack of detail. Does anyone out there have VERY detailed Lancaster or Manchester 3-views? I have lots of sources including Squadron/Signal's Lancaster in Action, but I want something which shows more than just the main panel lines (I want down to the rivits if possible). If anyone has such an item and can post it here, point me somewhere on the web, or email it to me (3dp@msn.com), I'd appreciate it. I'd like it relatively large since I'm working at 1024x1024 (maybe 72dpi, 2000x2000). Format wise, I don't care and it only needs to be black & white. I'd really like to give a bomber a skin the quality of Casualty's Mustang's and Corsairs.------------------

There is a fairly new book on the Lanc (and Manc and Lincoln as well) called 'The Avro Lancaster, Manchester and Lincoln, a Comprehensive Guide for the Modeller,' by Richard A. Franks. It has some very detailed 3-views in it, along with photos of everything in the Lanc from the CSBS to the Elsan toilet  .IP: Logged |

BTW,I have many great detailed photos of the Lanc cockpit and insides that Dean sent me, he photographed them. I also have a diagram of the cockpit... this was all because of a dream to do a full Lanc pit... but I got sucked into Wings with Wires and had no time to do it  ------------------

GT,Still do, thanks. Before you do though, I hope I made it clear that I'm looking for just line drawing, blueprint kind of stuff, not color profiles, I've got plenty of those! I'll watch my email. ------------------
