Yeah I just tried it at 1280 x 1024 in the bavaria terrain and it was smooth. I don't think my voodoo 3 handles textures larger than 256 so I can't get better textures on planes. IP: Logged

Jerry+ Pilot	posted 12-18- 12:22 PM Crimson, I don't know about Razer but I set-up my system and SDOE to run 70-90FPS most of the time so that it can run the more complex missions without falling below 20 FPS (can't even do that in some of the custom missions ). IP: Logged

Razer Pilot	posted 12-18- 12:51 PM i sent it out to some guys to finish it since I needs the cockpit finished and a level 2 lod (that is a simple fix like the main lod) but the cockpit would take more time. I still have the version above on the HD some where if you want it. it has a ton of problems. IP: Logged

Vahn Pilot	posted 12-19- 07:18 PM hmmm...i know this is changing the subject but whenever i use a plane with a hi res skin its all blurry...kinda like that pic that gust posted of the Ju52. it did this when i had a 16 MB TNT2 and it still does this with my Radeon 64 DDR. does it under open gl and directx p.s. i have 1024x1024 set under options IP: Logged
Jerry+ Pilot	posted 12-19- 07:38 PM Are you using the hi-res .sm files? Without them the hi-res skins will display as 256 and the extra detail makes them look blurry. IP: Logged
Vahn Pilot	posted 12-20- 12:00 AM it happens with the P-51 and Bf109....those are the ones that come to mind at least...i have the latest versions of each so im pretty sure the sm's support the hi res skins IP: Logged
Rendsburger Pilot	posted 12-20- 10:00 AM Vahn, i guess it´s video card related but ím not sure about it. I had those blurry looking skins too a while ago but my texture size was set at 512x512. Since i changed to 1024x1024 all skins looks nice. And be sure that your plane support hires texures. There are 2 files at www.simfiles.com who make the planes from the planepack hires compatible. I took it while testing the latest P-39 on the modeling PC and the mission was 4 P-39s going after 4 A6M5s that we going after an airbase and well the P-39s dropped the drop tanks before they turned to take on the zeros and the P-51B never did that! here's the pic before two of them dropped and broke. You might notice the new tail, updated nose and drop tanks. This new version is way better then any other version released or not. IP: Logged

They even had one of the Pilots who flew it Erich Sommer I think his name was. It was such a fast recon and strategic bomber that no allied planes could ever catch it. IP: Logged
