I am making this new version of the Ju 388 J-1 that will replace the old 388 J. This new version will be but adjusted to the reality, and it will incorporate novelties like the luminous instruments for the night, helixes of four shovels, new canopy, tailgunner to remote control, radar Neptune, lights of wing tip, and another things. ------------------ III./JG3_Gustav PzKpfw III Ausf J, III Panzer division Russian front 1941 Alle Messerschmitt bf109 FS_Gustav IP: Logged |

Thank you for their concepts, I am glad this new one to please them model. The old Ju 388 conserved several things of the Ju 88 that I am modifying in this new version so that they are exact to the Ju 388 real, like in the case of the canopy.------------------ III./JG3_Gustav PzKpfw III Ausf J, III Panzer division Russian front 1941 Alle Messerschmitt bf109 FS_Gustav IP: Logged |

Have you see this: http://www.ju388.de/ Most excellent, it has cockpit photos! I'm not sure how much different the J would be from this L. I never knew they got the rear guns working - funny that it took 5 years before the 88 series had a reasonable read gun. Are you sure the J used them and not just the L's & K's? Maury IP: Logged |

Maury Markowitz, alone some model J took the back weapons, although not most. The version K never enters in action. The J-1, maintained the characteristics of the Ju 88 C6, with a light difference in the canopy, and the motors and wings of the Ju 188. The series L and K were very different, with another similar canopy to that of the Ju 188, and a fuselage but lengthened. http://www.warbirdsresourcegroup.org/LRG/ju388.html ------------------ III./JG3_Gustav Alle Messerschmitt bf109 FS_Gustav IP: Logged |
